GAIA

Eyes of the world are on you ! COP 15 (UN Conference on climate change) marked the defining moment in history when all the leader in the world get together to broker “the most complex and ambitious ever to be undertaken by the world community”. The summit aims at sealing national pledges to curb the heat-trapping carbon gases wreaking havoc with Earth's climate system, and set up a mechanism to provide billions of dollars for poor countries facing worsening drought, flood, storms and rising seas. Unfortunately, at the end of the summit the NO DEAL agreement was adopted as Copenhagen Accord. Greenpeace quoted the summit as Floppenhagen !

The situation was that everybody pointing finger and blaming each other

Rich country A to Rich county B : You go first, tell them how much money you can give ?

Rich country B: No ! you go first ! You the biggest polluter. You have to take the responsibility!

Developing country: Hey people we are all in the same boat. It will sink fast ! Yes we want to take some action but we need the fund ! Show me the money!

Poor country: Please agreed on something, whatever it is so we can move forward !

Despite all this, the summit raised the interest of civil society, 60,000 people from NGO, Activist, volunteers come together to act. 100,000 people marches together and plead to push for the right deal. This movements creates the biggest campaign for social behaviour to change, people power will move political power. The clock is ticking !!! Time is running out !!! The positive outcome is that more and more people stand and act together and desperate for a solution. The time to act is now !

My plead is

Dear Leader of the World

There are lots of good brains out there. Please utilize this and act together to create solution. Put aside the selfish national interest. Stop talking Start Acting !!!

By Lucky

Dear citizen of the world
Let’s act together to save our beautiful planet as I heard is not going to be as much fun to live on MARS !

Leftover Turkey

Me and Aunt was invited for a Thanksgiving Dinner organized by Madam Betty, the charming American lady who had been living here in Malaysia for more over than 20 years. Americans love Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general.

The traditional Thanksgiving menu often features turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie. What we get at Aunty Betty Thanksgiving dinner is exactly as per mention. Being true American she roasted a big, fat, American Thanksgiving Turkey. The turkey was enormous, the stuffing and everything, and the lovely pumpkin pie. Looking forward to the end !

Aunt Betty start the toast and the feast begin. Soon after we followed a nice American custom by joining hands and in each in turn saying what we are most grateful for.

Aunt Betty starts saying she is grateful being here in Malaysia, the food, the culture, the people here had taken good care of her for more over than 20 years. My Aunty saying she grateful that she’s surrounded by old and new friends that had been supporting her, she thanks Aunt Betty for how warmly she has taken care of her through difficult times.

When it comes my turn to speak, I begin with a simple Thank You.
I’m grateful to be mostly tonight. Grateful that I surrounded by loving people, and pray to God that I’ll have more many many occasion that I’ll be able to Thank You from now onwards.

After a lovely dinner Aunt Betty insisted that we packed back the leftover turkey for breakfast tommorow. Hardly say No to Aunt Betty, we packed back a considerable amount of the leftover !

This morning I wake up figuring what to do with the Leftover Turkey. Turkey Sandwich, Turkey salad or may be Turkey soup. Above all I need to think of the strategy on how to persuade Aunt Betty to give to me her delicious pumpkin pie recipe. Mission Impossible begin !

Pickle

The pair of blue eyes came again to the café.
Hi there ! can I have the curry rice please, with extra pickles ! umm… sure. (Wow, this guy like pickle so much, actually they are my favourite too !). My heart is fluttering, it is his eyes that captivate me. They are deep blue and they twinkle. I stare at him hypnotised. Oh dear. I think I am falling in love. I come over all light-headed. I do hope I don’t faint. Sigh ….. since I haven’t got the guts to ask his name I’ll be calling him pickle !

Speaking of Pickle, Asian really obsessed with pickle. Most Asian dishes will have pickle with rice as side dishes, and sometimes with drinks as snack. The most common kinds a pickled in salt or brine. White radishes, turnip, cucumber and Chinese cabbage are among favourite to be eaten with rice as an accompaniment to a meal. Ginger is used between dishes of sushi to cleanse the palate. Pickle is often served with Japanese Curry. Pickling was one of the fundamental ways to preserve foods. Typically, all that’s needed to make pickle is a container, salt, and something to apply pressure on top of the pickle.

The most popular pickle in the world is Korean Kimchi. It is national obsession. It is madness, you can have Kimchi everywhere. The Kimchi Field Museum in Seoul has documented 187 historic and current varieties of kimchi. Kimchi is so ubiquitous that the Korea Aerospace Research Institute developed space Kimchi to accompany the first Korean astronaut to the Russian-manned space ship Soyuz.

Kimchi is very spicy and can also be exceptionally sweet. Kimchi is made of various vegetables and contains a high concentration of dietary fiber, while being low in calories. One serving also provides up to 80% of the daily recommended amount of vitamin C and carotene. Most types of kimchi contain onions, garlic and peppers, all of which salutary. The vegetables being made into kimchi also contribute to the overall nutritional value. Kimchi is rich in Vitamin A, thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), calcium and iron, and contains a number of lactic acid bacteria.

The magazine Health named kimchi in its list of top five “World’s Healthiest Foods” for being rich in vitamins, aiding digestion, and even possible reducing cancer growth.

I really like any type of pickle. I like cucumber and gerkhin pickle in burgers, Japanese garlic pickle with sushi, the Indian pickle Achar with curry and of course Kimchi. I need to make a trip to Ampang (the Korean Town in KL) to buy the home-made Kimchi from the lovely Korean lady. Anyong ha seyoo… Kimchi Issoyoo ? Kamsahamnidaa …..

Tonight dinner will be the fiery Kimchi Stew to boost up my immunity. Kimchi Power !

Open Sesame !

Open Sesame ! The Magic words that open the treasure cave in the adventure tale of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.

The sesame seed has a long history in Eastern cuisines. In Asia you can find sesame in almost every cuisine, sesame seeds added to bread, baked into crackers, sprinkled onto sushi and salads. Sesame soup, sesame paste called Tahini, Sesame is so versatile ! I like the Japanese Goma-tofu (tofu blend with sesame paste), it’s so tasty !

Chinese cuisine like to used sesame oil in their dishes, you can have a delicious dim sum & sesame seeds balls. Most of the Korean cuisine used Sesame to marinate meat and vegetables. Sesame everywhere !

Women of ancient Babylon would eat halva, a mixture of honey and sesame seeds to prolong youth and beauty. It represents a symbol of immortality. External beauty Cleopatra secrets lies in the tiny little seeds of sesame!
Indian Ayurveda use sesame oil for massage and health treatments of the body. Ayurveda views sesame oil as the most viscous of the plant oils and believes it may pacify the health problems associated with Vata aggravation.
The mighty power in sesame, the seeds contains a nutrious emollient oil, all the while being very low in carbohydrate. They are extremely high in iron, calcium, manganese and copper. They contain the vitamins B1 and E and lignans, estrogen-like chemical that have skin plumping and anti oxidant effects.
Prof. recommended we should take at least 60 mg of Sesamin (the mighty molecule in sesame) daily. The unique content of Sesamin which are antioxidant and anti-cancer properties. Sesame seeds also contain phytosterols associated with reduced levels of blood cholesterol.

1 sesame seed contains 1% of sesamin means we should take equivalent to 6000 sesame seed daily ! Wow!
My confession of the day, actually I’m addicted to Black Sesame Ice-cream. Invented by Japanese I believed so. Should I eat it every day to fulfill the daily intake requirement as suggested by Professor ???
My pleasure … hmm … yummy

Hakuna Matata !

Dearest Lucky ….

Don’t worry be happy !

The simplest message I got from Prof. Simple but very true. It is something that we sometimes forget. Oftentimes we worried about the every single detail in our daily life routine. Worries bring misfortune. The only way to bring out the luck in your life is not to worries, when you have a road block try to recompose yourself and find a solution. Take a detour.

Sometimes we were tired. Really tired. Tired of trying. Tired of giving things your all. We wanted to stop racing round like a nutter trying to do everything and getting nowhere fast. We wanted to just stop and do a whole big hunk of nothing. We always have our schedule, to do list and everything. It took a long time and much effort to go where it is, and we organize ourselves as best as we can; it isn’t ideal, but we rub along.

Yeah ! bad thing happens and you can’t do anything about it – but you got to put the past behind you. Give your best shot. No matter how hard things get …. No matter how fed up you are …. Make sure you don’t give up.

Hey buddy ! Always believe that there is a force that will make you happy.
Hakuna Matata ! It’s means no worries for the rest of your day. Hakuna Matata ….., it’s a problem free philosophy. Hakuna Matata !

I need to see the lion king again today ! See you later !

RAIN

It’s rain heavily today from morning until now. In Malaysia we have only 2 season, dry and rainy season. Now we are entering a rainy season where you’ll have rain most of the day. Compared to bright sunny day, rainy day is always associated with sadness, like the whole world crying with you. Many song lyrics is written on the event of rain to reflect sadness … such as this …. So sad …..

Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain
Telling me just what a fool I've been

I wish that it would go and let me cry in vain
And let me be alone again
The only girl I care about has gone away
Looking for a brand new start
But little does she know
That when she left that day
Along with her she took my heart

Rain please tell me now does that seem fair
For her to steal my heart away when she don't care
I can't love another when my hearts somewhere far away ......

But for me rain is the blessing, there will be always something new after the rain. The most delicious mushroom will sprout after the rain! And the grass seems greener after the rain. The sky will be brighter too ...

The customer in the café is very less due to the heavy rain from the morning and my thought wandering what should I cook for dinner tonight. Suddenly I was interrupted by the pair of blue eyes! I gaze into his radiant blue eyes …..

Excuse me. Would you mind if I borrow your umbrella! I’m running for the meeting. I’ll return it tomorrow. By the way, I really like the curry rice. I think it’s one of the best !
Me : Thanks …ok, go ahead.
(Damn! the cat get my tongue ! sigh! )

The pair of blue eyes ! Shall we meet again tomorrow…
hmm ..... the best thing to do on a rainy day is sipping a hot chocolate and listen to the music. My favourite song on a rainy day by BJ Thomas.

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turnin' red
Cryin's not for me'
Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complainin'
Because I'm free
Nothin's worryin' me
It won't be long till happiness steps up to greet me ……

Dream Catcher

Dream, when you’re feeling blue. Dream, that’s the thing to do. Just watch the smoke rings rise in the air. You’ll find your share of memories there. So Dream when the day is through. Dream, and they might come true. Things never are as bad as they seem. So dream, dream, dream …..
JOHNNY MERCER (1944)

Dream ! wow …. We often asked little kids what is you dream ? What you want to be when you grow up. Surely you’ll get an immediate answer, I want to be a Doctor, Lawyer, Engineer, Business Owner and so on. But, have you ever recently asked to yourself what is your dream ? Do you have a dream ? Or are you forgotten what was your dream as you go through your busy daily schedule ? Or do you have a stack of memories in the past that exceed you dream ?

Imagination is more important than knowledge. – Albert Einstein

Dream make you look forward not back. Let us measure ourselves by looking at this point of view, you are in trouble when you tell me how good you are in the past. Yes you don’t want to forget your achievement and I’m glad, but that was then and this is now. When memories exceed dreams, the end is near. The bottom line is are you willing to abandon what made it successful and start fresh.

Of course there were bad memories that we had gone through that create fear and paranoia. You got cheated and manipulated by your trusted partner. But there is a fine line between precaution and paranoia, oftentimes we crossed it by shutting the door to an opportunity because of bad experience. We need more dreams, naivete and optimism to shed those fear. It is the one that help keep the world spinning on its axis.

Analyst have always tended to measure a society by classical economic and social statistics: its deficit-to-GDP ratio, or its unemployment rate, or the literacy among its adult women. Malaysia under Najib’s Administration had introduced the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) on government and corporate sector. Such statistics are important and revealing. But there is another statistic, much harder to measure, that I think is even more important and revealing. Does your society have more memories that dream or more dreams than memories ?

In societies that have more memories that dreams, too many people spending too many day looking backward. If we stop our mind to create “dream factory”, we will make the world not only a darker place but also a poorer place. So let’s start focus to create more dreams rather than cling to the past memories, imagining a better future and acting on that.

My dream is to work on the conservation project but, I know the Conservation without money is only Conversation ! I believe this dream make me work harder to contribute the money I earned for the cause of it. Hmm..... Where did I put the Dream Catcher earrings, I need to wear it to catch more dream and start acting on it !

Lucky Virgin

Hmm… I tried to bake the cream puff for the second time after my first successful attempt the other day. The first time I tried it come out perfectly fluffy. It was crunchy outside and soft inside. I’m very proud of myself. Well done !
Then I try it again today ….but HORROR ! It came out flat like the flying saucer. Even kodomo chan, our beloved Rottweiler don’t want to take a bite of it. Why ?? I’m very angry and frustrated, I’m very sure I used the same ingredients with exactly the same recipe.

Take a deep breath and try to figure out what wrong with it. The first time you try something new you will surely success. The Beginner Luck (Lucky Virgin). In the Alchemist, Paulo Coelho describes a principle of ‘favourability’. He says : “When you play cards the first time, you are almost sure to win. Beginner’s luck … because there is a force that wants you to realize your destiny: it whets your appetite with a taste of success.
Every search begins with beginner’s luck. And every search ends with the victors being severely tested.

The Second attempt, it will be a disaster. The failure served to test your persistence. There is a hidden force whose duty is to test people through all sorts of discouraging experiences. Those who pick up the defeat and keep on trying, arrive and then the world cries ‘Bravo ! I knew you could do it !' The hidden force lets no one enjoy great achievement without passing the Persistence Test.

So, I arrange everything in order and start again. Precisely measure the ingredients and follow step by step through the recipe. Yes, this time it came out as par to the standard. Pretty Good ! Although not perfect, but I’m quite satisfied.

Cream Puff was originally from France. In French it’s called Choux a la Crème. Choux is a cabbage in French. It because the outside crust resembled a cabbage! The outside of it was crispy yet curiously tender, and you need the perfect custard cream and layer of whipped cream for the filling, the cream would burst inside the mouth when you bit into them. They were just heavenly delicious to me.

I know to bake the perfect cream puff will takes a years of practice. I need to pass the persistence test to make it perfect. Aunty had been baking this for many years. That is why the Cream Puff is our no. 1 bestseller dessert in our café. Come and give it a try !

Oracle

Oh my God ! what am I thinking. How can I let Little Dragon put me into this. I’m in the room with fortune-teller and he is reading my destiny. It like in the Matrix when Neo met the Great Oracle. You in the right path of your life ….. so on and on ….

Little Dragon become very spiritual nowadays, a great believer in karma and stick to the practices religiously. In Asia superstition is still very much part of everyday life. Astrology, chiromancy, the art of reading the future in a person’s face or the sole of his feet or the tea leaves in his cup, play a very substantial role in the life of people and in public affairs, as do the practices of healers, shamans and the master feng-shui, the cosmic geometry. The name to give a child, the purchase of a field, the sale of a portfolio of shares, the repair of a roof, the date of a departure or a declaration of war, are governed by criteria that have nothing to do with logic. Those criteria determine how millions of marriages are arranged, how thousands of buildings are planned and constructed. Political decisions which affect whole populations are based on the advice is individuals expect in consulting the occult.

Fortune teller, shamans, bomoh, they all came in shapes and sizes. Many of the fortune-tellers were just colourful characters, the Sifu I’m seeing right now really surprise me. I’m kind of imagine him as a Buddhist Monk in a traditional orange robe but not! He really cool ! kind of fun loving guy but when he got down to business he was truly remarkable, an unusual psychic gift that enabled him to read other people’s mind. He left me wondering if indeed he had an extra sense. Is it possible ?

People have always searched for the meaning of life, trying to comprehend its mystery and find a key to the future, and to influence their fate. That is why the East, with its aura of exoticism, has again become a source of inspiration for many people, who look to Eastern religions and practices for the answers they no longer seem to find in schools. More that the great philosophers of the home-grown variety, Oriental mysticism, Buddhism and Asian gurus seem to be able to help those who want to escape the prison of consumerism, the bombardment of advertising, the dictatorship of television.

I find fortune teller prophecy is kind of interesting, chance to learn about the different ways in which people seek this kind of advice, to explore new paths of knowledge, to look into the mysterious world of intuition and suggestion that so often beckons to us but is seldom taken seriously. To be part of the ‘mysterious East’ is kind of cool to me. It offered something that can’t be explain in facts & figures. Perhaps in this world not all the problems are supposed to be solved by science alone. People are more perplexed that ever about their destiny and look for solace, understanding, friendship and hope wherever they can find it.
Anyhow in every possible way, the best is yet to come! by Sifu to Lucky.

De-humanizing

You got mail ! You just received a hug & kisses from Anne. Click to receive. You just received a chocolate cake from Harry, click to view.

Most of the things can be done by a few clicks away. Thanks to the globalization. We are all connected. The social networking services e.g Facebook, Twitter etc, with the motto “Giving the people power and to make the world more open and connected”. Business professional networking services e.g. Linkedln, Naymz is an interconnected network of professional from around the world, with billion members networking every second.

One of the paradoxes of a world in which we are all increasingly connected is that is makes it that much easier for us all to become disconnected. Because of more we are all wired and networked together, the easier it becomes for each of us to work alone, at home, from our beach house, tree house of from remotest Africa. The more we are all networked, the more we call all be freelancers.

Working moms and dads can now be home more. That’s good, in theory. But often means is that the workday becomes nineteen hours long. I have a friend who dad works from home as an independent consultant for government and industry. Even though her dad is at home in every two hours he is on the cell phone. She eventually got so upset with the interruptions that she finally said to him, “Dad, just stay at the office.”

Now everyone is E-lancers. We don’t have friends; we have contact. We become unreal, virtual.

Whenever you call for technical support or reservation services oftentimes you’ll be directed by the system and if you want to speak to a human being, press 1. What happen if press 1 is no longer an option ? Always being able to speak to an operator is essential for globalization’s success. Because at some level you need to feel that this system is built for human beings, not machines; otherwise it becomes deeply alienating.

The advances in online trading, the internet, satellite technology and the like. Some farmer using the internet, a web site –http://www.tomato.com/ and a visa account will surely set up a virtual farmers’ market where it will be possible to order the tomato from your home PC, charge them on Visa and have them delivered by FedEx the next day. But where does quality of life fit into all this stuff ? Being able to smell the fresh lemon and to buy fresh flower direct from the farmers market and being able to chit chat about the current issue with your neighborhood grocery’s will surely make your day.

How we learn to strike the right balance between globalization’s and humanizing will determine the evolution of human society. Our job as citizens of the world is to make certain that a majority of people always feel that globalization will benefit the society in each possible way. Only then will globalization be sustainable.

Surely we can have 1 millions contacts in our social or business networking, always connected with blackberry, text messages, e-mail and so on, but where is the fun when you can’t enjoy a quiet moment with real friends. I love going out to enjoy wine & dine to catch up with a few friends. Little Dragon, your birthday is next week, let’s just chill out at our favorite restaurant in Bangsar. The dinner is on me ! Cheers !

Nuts !

Customer : The coffee is too hot ! could you please make a not-so-hot coffee.
Me (inner thoughts) : My goodness ...... of course the coffee is suppose to be hot, just let it cool down for a while and drink it later you idiot !
Me (reply back to the customer) : I’m so sorry. Sure Mam, let’s me change the coffee for you.

Actual action : I came back 30 minutes later with the same coffee after it cool down a little bit and serve it back to that madam.
Case settle everybody happy and I don’t get sued by the eccentric madam !

But, come on people use your common sense, and try not to make somebody life miserable with your tiny problem. I remembered the case about the women who sue McDonald’s for serving her the coffee which she scalded herself. The women who burned herself with the hot coffee and McDonald was suit for selling coffee that was unreasonably hot ! Though there was a warning on the coffee cup, the jury decided that the warning was neither large enough nor sufficient. Similarly, the pant lawsuit, a man – a judge, no less – sued his dry cleaners for 54million for allegedly losing his trousers. A sign at the shop promised “satisfaction guaranteed” makes the owner closed the shop and considered moving back to South Korea. Pity !

What a crazy world – an important truth about human nature – that angry people can go NUTS ! Come on people, Sigh ! If you let this things going on you can’t even smile at people without thinking he/she will sue you of the sexual harassment or mentally distress.

Do you want this life to become miserable and people get skeptical to each other ?
Dear Mr Obama, good luck in your administration of the county that allowed this idiotic case in the court.

Too many rules squeeze the joy out of life. Do you want every place you go full of signboard BEWARE – ATTENTION – CAUTION . Where is the surprise of life when you were told what come ahead. Not Fun ! I always like surprise …. Good - welcome it of course ! Bad - try to settle and get over it. The basic in common sense is Sorry and Thank You.

Me, trying to be good and always hope for the better !
Sincerely Yours – Lucky …..

Beautiful Sunday

Today I will not do anything and just sit to look at the sky and see the cloud. Just sit still for a few moments. Prof. asked me to wait and attract the Luck. Let's have posture of waiting for the fate. Posture not to give up to the negative and fearing the risk. Listen to your thoughts, and listen to the words you are saying. Have patience and faith. You are creating and attracting Luck through your thought. The Luck is working as much as you’re thinking. Anytime your thoughts are flowing, it’s working. When you’re thinking about the present or the future, it’s working non-stop. You can begin to consciously choose your thoughts, and you can change your life. There is no such thing as a hopeless situation. Every single circumstance of your life can change !
We have a free will to choose our thoughts. The power to intentionally think and create the entire life with our mind.

If you worry about having negative thoughts, you will attract more worrying about your negative thoughts, and multiply the at the same time. Decide right now that you are going to think only good thoughts.

Just look at the white fluffy clouds. It has a calming effect. I’m listening to the Beautiful Sunday song by Daniel Boone. What a Beautiful Sunday !

Hi hi hi, beautiful Sunday
This is my my my beautiful day
When you said said said said that you loved me
Oh my my my its a beautiful day

coffee beans

I don't believe we can do so many things in this world. That is the small routine things that matter. How I wish that I can contribute to the world will start from the daily basis the things that I do for me, myself to the company and to the community. Quite apart from anything else, my experience is trying to change things for the better makes you feel better, healthier.

Nowadays we often heard Multinational Corporation strongly put an effort on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) campaign. CSR is about how companies manage the business processes to produce an overall positive impact on society. Business giving back to the society.

I believe it is now more important than ever before for business to assume a moral leadership. The business of business should not be about money, it should be about responsibility. It should be about public good, not private greed.

Business must be run at a profit, else it will die. But when anyone tries to run a business solely for profit..... then also the business must die, for it no longer has a reason for existence.
In terms of power and influence, you can forget what you were taught in school, forget politics. There is no more powerful institution in society than business. As I believe that business is one of the way by which we could introduces values into a non-value industry. Anything that change values changes behavior and all knowledge should be translates into action.

CSR is also about people power. We can vote with our money. Yes, I definitely won’t buy the T-shirts from a company that hire children worker.

Human are individually communicative person : When you do good in a community, the benefits eventually get back to you.

Little Dragon work in company which adopted baby giraffe in the National Zoo, very cute !!
And more and more company aggressively launch a campaign “Plant a Trees” or “Save a Reef”.
Provide education for low-income families, built facilities and so on. We need business that safeguards the environment. We need business that encourages countries to educate their children, heal their sick, value the work of women and respect human rights.

It doesn’t matter that your company is 3 persons or 3 million persons, you can always start your CSR project. My aunty and I start our CSR project by re-cycling the used coffee powder for fertilizer. As we generates lots of used coffee beans on daily basis, instead of throwing it away we are giving it to the landscaping company for them to use as a natural fertilizer for the plant.

And I personally use the used coffee beans and mixed it with honey, oats and yogurt and use it as a body scrub to make my skin glow plus the caffeine in the coffee have a slimming effect. Double good !!

Fortune Cookies

Please grant me serenity to accept I’m not alone in thinking life sometimes sucks and courage to get my own back.

We are living in a competitive world. But not to forget we are born winner. Just imagine that the sperm have to swim a thousand miles to meet the egg and the one and only was chosen and after 9 months we were born. Our existence is the evidence of winner. The rule is never give up to the match. We have to keep on challenging until dying. We are the Lucky one already !

However we hardly deny that ......
Life dumps on you sometimes. We all get dumped. By love, life, friends, work or family. Even they broke your heart, you should never let them break your will to get out there in killer heels. Never mind your hang-ups. Just go out and buy some hold-ups. Don’t let people get on top of you. Get on top of them. Life is what you make it. It’s your own screenplay. So what are you waiting for ? Now, put us down. Get out there. Write yourself an X-rated scene for today and make sure you live it !

Anyway if you feel like giving up just remember Mariah Carey song

There is a hero
When you look inside your heart
You don’t have to be afraid of what you are
There an answer if you reach into your soul
And the sorrow that you know will melt away …..

A favourite song to sing inside the bathtub whenever I felt down ! Never fail to cheer me up !
And one more things go out to have a nice dinner at Chinese Restaurant and eat fortune cookies, they never say bad things ….I just crack one and it’s says "pursue your wishes and your fortune is on it’s way"
Fortune cookies Rock !

sun & sea

I think that as hard as we all work, and how busy life is, it is super important to be able to take some time to relax, be with your loved one, and just get away from it all ! Almost everybody I know love to travel and have their favourite getaways.

I love travel – it’s nutritious for the spirit to try things that may see (at first) weird or difficult. I always want to discover more about myself, and the only way that happens is if I expose my mind (and senses) to things it’s unused to, and I like to explore and savour another culture, and to feel what a welcoming place the world can be. Traveling doesn’t have to be expensive or faraway places. A few hour drive with a good company is more meaningful than anything.

Last weekend I was persuaded by my aunty friend to accompany her 12 years old daughter to their vacation getaways in Cherating beach. Cherating Beach is in the east coast of Malaysia, 4 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. How can I resist sun & sea even though I have to baby sit 12 years old Momoko chan right ! What so difficult about doing nothing but eat, swim, hang out and relax, which is heavenly ! So I grab my bikini and join them to have fun in a sun !

Momoko chan insist to build the most beautiful sand castle in the world and determine to compete in the World Sand Sculpture Festival one day. Me play the good role of assistant collected the considerable amount of shells and seaweed to decorate the castle. We dig a moat to protect the castle from invaders, crabs and such like; lastly we put our hand prints and signature to our creation like the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Gosh ! didn’t realized that building sandcastle is such a tiring activity. Anyway we had so much fun and Momoko chan insist that we should do this every couple of months to realize her dream of competing in the world championship which I figure it will takes about another 10 years to go ! Hmm … may be I should advertise and ask for help to anybody who want to become sandcastle artist. Any takers ?

The Prof did mention in his email to go out to travel for four days or more to regain luck whenever you get frustrated or angry with something. I totally agree

Life is beautiful ! Make it better and try to live life full of laughter !

tomato

I love tomatoes. I’m crazy about tomato. I’m maniac about tomatoes. I’m obsessive about tomatoes. Fresh tomatoes, tomatoes sauce, tomatoes ketchup, tomatoes in whatever form, I can’t live without tomatoes. I must have tomatoes every day.

There are variety types of tomatoes. The beefsteak are large tomatoes often used for sandwiches; plum tomatoes often used in tomatoes sauce and paste; cherry tomatoes (my favourite !) are small and round, often sweet tomatoes generally eaten whole in salad.

Italians eat a lot of tomatoes. Tomato sauce is now more recognizable Italian that the tricolor of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. It is the lifeblood of the Italian food – some would even say of the Italians themselves. You can combines pasta with around fifty different sauces containing tomatoes.

The Italians I know never seems to go through real ‘down’. They always bubbly and jovial. May be there’s an enzyme in there that makes you perky. My guess is it’s to do with tomatoes.

Pomo d’oro is tomatoes in Italian literally means golden apple. Prof wrote that the enzyme in tomato is called lycopene. Lycopene gives a red colour to a tomato, and the beauty of it, it can suppresses the growth of cancer cell in human body. Lycopene also defends body from carcinogen contained from the ultraviolet ray of sunray.

The lycopene also actively working to generate the oxygen inside the body to reduce stress. Lycopene can generate happy hormone in your body. See, another reason why I love tomatoes.

Moreover the lycopene control the oxidation of bad cholesterol and prevents body from aging.
It also makes skin beautiful and have the whitening effect.
In Europe, there is a proverb “When the tomatoes reddens, the doctor becomes blue”.

Luckily I live in temperate country where tomatoes growth in abundant annually. We have a regular customer in our café whom I fondly called Sensei. He is headmaster of the Japanese Kindergarten in KL. Apart from running the kindergarten his hobby is gardening. I manage to persuade him to plant cherry tomatoes in his garden after promising him to look after his cat whenever his away. Often I will go to his garden nearby to help him water the plant. Oh ya, may be I can buy Sensei the basil plant so that he can plant it with the tomato for the tomato to grows sweet, as I read in the book somewhere that tomato and basil love each other and you can get benefit from both. Sometimes he will bring me the tomatoes and I often used the tomatoes to make my favourite Summer Vege Pasta. My original receipe using a lot of tomatoes.

I need to persuade little dragon to save on our salary so that we can go to Rome the capital of Italian Cuisine. Where we can have the Pizza Margherita. On top, there is sweet tomato sauce that foams up all bubbly and creamy when it melts the fresh buffalo mozzarella. Buon appetito !
Moreover, where every Leonardo, Michaeoangelo and Antonio call you "Bella"
(translation = beautiful) every time.
Dolce vita – the sweet life.

eclipse

On July 22nd the moon’s shadow fell across Asia in the longest total solar eclipse the21st century will witness. From the Ganges River in India to remote islands of the Pacific, the sun rose only to vanish again, allowing the stars to twinkle — a celestial show that inspired awe and fear in millions across Asia. Never before have so many people lived under an eclipse’s path. The skies darkened first in India just after dawn, then a wide swath of Asia was blackened as the eclipse moved eastward over southern Japan and then off into the Pacific Ocean. In some areas, the eclipse lasted as long as six minutes and 39 seconds.
China has traditionally seen eclipses as ominous. A government directive ordered officials to combat “superstition and terror”, watch out for traffic accidents caused by distracted motorists and prevent stampedes.
Others in India were gripped by fear and refused to go outdoors. In Hindu mythology, an eclipse is said to be caused when a dragon-demon swallows the sun, while another myth says the sun's rays during an eclipse can harm unborn children. Along the banks of the Ganges, thousands of devotees turned out to pray, chant and bathe in the waters, which were dotted with women in colorful saris and bare-chested men, all wearing dark glasses.
At a Buddhist temple in the Thai capital Bangkok, dozens of monks led prayers at a Buddhist temple to ward off evil. The eclipse is viewed as the bad omen for the country and the praying to boost the fortune of the country.

Total eclipses are caused when the moon moves directly between the sun and the Earth, covering it completely to cast a shadow on Earth. Wednesday's was the longest, there will not be a longer eclipse until 2132.
My first encounter with eclipse began when I was very little. I grew up in the plantation in the very big house on top of the hill. My dad the scientist wannabe never let the opportunity slip when there are any natural phenomenon occurs. What I remember on one day my daddy call me to come out as soon as possible outside the house and the was a tub basin fill of water and my dad asked me to look at it and never look up. The image was amazing, it look as if the moon eating the sun gradually. Later I found out it was actually solar eclipse and found the explanation in Science book. During those day there were no special google or binocular made to public, not to mention we are out of nowhere so the only way is to look as the reflection on the water tub basin. Whenever the eclipse occurred I still remembered the special moments with my daddy.

Personally I view the occurrence of the eclipse as a natural cycle of earth sun and moon realignment. Me, always view life as the half full of glass take this rarely occurrence as a sign that we should reset our cycle of life. To declutter whatever chaos we have inside and to start a new. If we have slump in our daily life whether it is work of personal we have to part from it temporarily. Most likely we often encounter blockage or jam in our daily work or study. However, it is not possible for the jam to slip our easily. What we need to do is to part from the blockage and let it recover by parting from it temporarily. The logjam, the slump is a kind of tiredness. Tiredness can be recovers. To slip out from the slum at work, free time for vacation is required to recover from a mental and physical stress. The French called this La retraite, is to become free from life to which work and study etc. are restrained through life.

So taking from this celestial even I’ll start cleaning and declutter all my stuff. Maybe I’ll do the scattering of beans ritual like the Japanese kids during the New Year, Oni wa soto, Fuku wa uchi “The Demon out, the Luck in”. Hopefully the luck will recover. Finger crossed.

Tres Chic

“God, grant me the serenity to accept my salary may not extend couture. Courage to go own-brand in times of trouble, and the wisdom to always look a million dollars, even if that’s the amount I owe”

Hello sister ! skint is chic. I need to do makeover of my wardrobe. I decided to do my own brand.
Just because you’re on cut-price budget doesn’t mean you can’t wear couture. You may be strapped for cash but never let things slip appearance-wise. Nails clean, hair washed, make-up professionally applied. You should look fabulously well maintained. Image is everything. Listen, if the old budget doesn’t quite stretch to couture then don’t despair. Whether your budget screams Armani or China Town, you should still get out there and party. Just because your bank account is empty doesn’t mean your diary ever should be. There is nothing shameful in being poor. The landed gentry may be land rich but they’re cash poor thanks to generation of gambling and debauchery. You’re in very good company, believe me.

It was Oscar Wilde who said that only a fool doesn’t judge people by appearances. He was right. How we look matters. It matters for all sorts of reasons. In this world we have to wear something every day and, whatever it is, you may be sure it tells the world something about you. It signals – more quickly that a lighting strike – whether we are fun. Clever, elegant, shy, intellectual, dowdy, sloppy, showy …. You name it, dress can convey all these qualities and more.
Psychiatrists say that they can judge the psychological health of a person from how they dress – it can speak of optimism and openness, or despair and utter hopelessness. Those who don’t bother can find themselves trapped in a downward cycle of not liking the way they look, and so they take less and less trouble, and therefore they like the way they look less and less.

Let’s try to understand it in formula that Prof. gave me ….

The person can be judged 90% from their first impression.
55% is judged from the expression of the face. 38% from the sizes and the tempo of the voice, and the content of the spoken work is 7%. This is the “Law of Mehrabian”, that American psychologist Albert Merabian created in 1971. "Rule of 7-38-55" from this ratio, and the initial of "Verbal information = Verbal", "Auditory information = Vocal", and "Visual information = Visual" is taken and is said, "Law of 3V".

The content of the spoken word is merely 7% because 93% of the remainder is the face expression and the voice. Now, I have a prove not to understand to my aunty nag !

Every woman will be amazed and thrilled when the make-over has been successful. It’s good for one’s self-esteem. It helps one face the world more confidently. It’s good for the gaiety of the nation. There was – and always is – plenty of time to change, no matter what your age. And it’s worth it. Completely empirically, one observes that those who dress prettily, elegantly or glamorously have a lot more fun that those who don’t. Glamour is a great life-enhancer and there’s no need to surrender it simply because the years are rolling by. Nor does it depend on continually buying loads of new clothes. A great haircut, fabulous shoes, cute bags and jewelry (which does not have to be expensive) all can do much to add more that a touch of glamour.

I don’t think there has ever been a better time for women wanting to look their best. It takes a modicum of time and money but then doesn’t everything that is worth while?

Actually, the personal appearance and the gesture also greatly influence.
Hearing understanding the content that the other party speaks pays attention to the other party's expression and operation. As for us, the expression of the face performs the key role from the spoken word. It is possible to make oneself felt to the other party by showing the smile of one million dollars to the other party.

The person who is lucky is always keeps the smile of one million dollar, and a conferrable person in the other party as for a fresh feeling and an agreeable first impression.
Take it from here, I better start design my own dress now and paint my heel sole RED and pretend to be expensive Louboutins! Apply my cherry lipstick and practice my Darlie smile.
It's summer time and I'm LUCKY for sure !

Aurora

Do you know the story of Greek myth “Pygmalion” ?
In olden time there was a young king "Pygmalion" in a Cyprus island.
As carving is his hobby, he liked to carve the image of a beautiful woman sculpture.
One day he obtained a wonderful marble and he immediately began to carve “the ideal image of Female”.
He kept ardently carving every day and night “the perfect beauty that cannot be desire from the woman in this world". Then, the statue was completed. As it is alive, it was a statue with the perfect beauty and stunningly beautiful, Pygmalion fell in love with the female statue.
The flower was picked and given, a beautiful necklace was worn, and when the night came, it laid in the bed and she was caressed gently. Pygmalion kept wishing that this statue can be given life to it and kept on believing. One day, the Pygmalion's wish reached the ear of Aphrodite who was the goddess of love and beauty. Aphrodite took pity of his love and decided to give the life to the statue. When Aphrodite blew in the life to the statue, the cheek of the statue of a cold marble was tinged with red, and the warmth of the skin came alive. The lip of the statue trembled faintly. Pygmalion rejoiced for the life and embraced closely. And, she was named Galatea, and eternal love to her was sworn to Aphrodite. Two people married. The child named Paphos was born between them, and it lived happily ever after. This story is a legend to teach "The wish to come true if you keep believing strongly”

It is a legend that became an origin of the name of "Pygmalion effect" proven by psychology
“anything that is not acceptable as it current negative situation, if you continue to believe on the ideal, the unexpected of the good result will came and the ideal will become reality”
The fate will be able to change if you believe strongly. Believe in yourself and your destiny will change. Whatever you believe, anything you wish will come true.

So I’m expecting that I will really see an aurora with my love one, Someday. I’ll picture it vividly this magical moment in my mind and I know deeply in my heart that the miracle will happen, sooner or later ......

Celebration

Today we had to organize a tea party with the Japanese Women Association in KL. So I had a busy day preparing the finger sandwiches and cream puff. We are very grateful as from time to time we had a regular customer want to organize a small gathering at our café. I love organizing a party as I can be more creative designing a theme and preparing a special menu. Party is a socializing event that some people find it troublesome but actually it can be so much fun if you know how to manage it. The point is to enjoy and put some sense of humor in it. The best thing about organizing a party is that you get to pick up the theme. If you are planning a costume party don’t make is too obscure; if it’s too hard to find a costume for your party it could be just too much hassle to attend. Yikes! Don’t want that!

There is lot of reasons for celebration as it can be a channel for obtaining good luck as Prof. says ……
The venture entrepreneur is often invited to the pan-industry social event and the party, etc. and attends.
All the parties have been held everywhere one after another. The invitation reaches customer's establishment commemoration party, the bar tea of new product release, the launch party, and the birthday party, etc.

What is the purpose to attend the party?
Are networks expanded? Is the purpose to do oneself PR? Is the purpose to receive stimulation?
Everything differs.

The party is a place where others' behavior is seen and to polish your social skills.
It is a party to learn the behavior of the person that you admired and respect by actually seeing, and hearing it. The chance to receive stimulation and impression is limited when you get older, and it becomes a limited through your social position. Personal development can be done by attending the party of the person that you respect. If you don’t like to meet person, find it troublesome and tired than you already give-up half of your life.

The classy person will attend the party and enrich the throat with the drink lightly, and to enjoy talking with a smile of one million dollars. By talking to people you will have an attitude to improve standard and intellectual.

In a party there will be different type of people gather. The party is man's show. If the meeting is not value, neither growth nor any creation will become.
If you hate the party and avoiding it, then you won’t be able to look a person with perspective.
The party is a place where man's way of life is changed, and developed.

The person who is lucky is the person who decides the rule and participates in the party for personal growth.

Actually I need to organize a party for little dragon. She just moves to her own place and I intent to cook for her at her brand new condominium. I’m planning the pajamas party with a lot of fluffy pillow to throw to each other.

So the menu would like to be …..
My famous Vietnamese springroll, Summer Vegetable pasta, grill oriental chicken salad and lots of chocolate ice-cream, and not to forget girl’s favourite drink Campari Orange & Soda. I gonna be fun and the idea to eat and drink in your pajamas is so comfy and with girls as you know the talks will be like forever …..

Make Happiness

Prof. email this to get me through the blue ......
Something simple, not new information but sometimes forgotten and overlooked points.

Make Happiness
It is an expression that the happiness to be made by your own
It will be similar with luck
Make Luckiness
It is necessary to belief that luck is to be made by your own

It is said there are two types of person,
Type 1, is that the one who thinks he rules by his own decision
Type 2, is the one who will follow others to decided his own future
Type 1 is the person who has the potential strength and believes optimistically
Type 2, lacked of confidence, passive, indecisive and powerless
Nothing is said even if he has something to say, single-mindedly turns to the attempt to save one's own neck and safety, the responsibility being pressed against others for safety, and strongly believed to be always a victim.

The Luck doesn’t come to the timid person.

「Situation? What situation?, I make the situation! 」… The Luck doesn't come if it is not more stronger than that.

LETS MAKE HAPPINESS

aishiteru ~ love you ~ ti amo ~ je t'aime ~

The eccentric little dragon emailed Prof. on the subject of Love and the answer is this …
Sorry little dragon, there is no magic formula, there is no telling, different people, different ways. There is no fixed time frame either. But love was ever a mystery. It works in deep, unknown ways and there are no certain answers to any of big questions: love comes out of the blue, sometimes when you least expect it. Those who keep looking outwards, who can find it in themselves to reach out to what life brings them, who feel that sense of possibility in the air, are those to whom things happen. But, let’s talk about Amour – How to deal with affairs of the heart

There is similarity between luck and love. Love between man and women is something that doesn’t change even after thousands years. It can only be understand by embracing it. Also it deals with the matter on an individual heart.

What is Love ?. ・・・ to have a pleasure being absorbed in a certain things, and to show mercy, to give out everything

Opposite of love is to hate, and to disregard it.
Love can’t be inherited
Love is skills, and not the senses
If love is skills then it would need knowledge and effort
And, almost everyone hopes to be loved more than to love
Therefore, they are blinded by love
If love is skills, then you have to love someone to make it real
Be only to be loved, resulting in despair
Love only exist when you are be able to love freely, without freedom is not love

If love is skills it is necessary to learn the art of love like music, arts, literature, medicine etc …
it has to be learned in the same way.
1) To be well versed with the theory
2) To practice and practice
3) To be passionate about it
4) To experience love like luck and the misfortune

Expression of love will be it values, consideration, a responsibility, respect, wisdom and to be able to depend on each other. Love is a personal experience
Belief and courage are necessary for love. When a certain value is judged to be the most important jump boldly into it, if you don’t have courage to bet everything on it, then love can’t be acquired.

Prof. conclusion: The luck and love is the same.
To obtain luck and love, courage is needed.

Hmmm … It all about love, we’re either in love, dreaming about love, recovering from it, wishing for it, or reflecting on it.

So tips for guys on a fast track for a date!
Wear a PINK shirt and ask the girl of your dream out! Bonus, bring flowers. Surely will melt our heart in seconds

Hot Salsa

I really hate going to the gym, it’s bloody boring to run on the machine and I’m very clumsy to operate anything that is mechanical. If there’s one thing I hate it’s an exercise bore. You know the type that does ironman triathlons ‘for fun’? My goodness!

How heavy the weights are or how many steps you can do on the stepper machine, the idea hold little appeals. It all seems such a joyless effort – from learning to use the machine and the idea to become rats in a treadmill, scare the hell out of me! Gym regimen that I can’t maintain is bound to fail, just as that boredom is the enemy. Gym sucks!

But, I need to sweet out the tons of calorie from that yummy ice-cream so I took up hot salsa class.
Plus! the instructor is so damn good looking, if I’m going to go through agony I might as well have something nice to look at, and it may make me try harder. So I’m on my way to become Tres chic and it’s nice to have a cute derrière. Sigh!

Nevertheless exerting oneself physically is completely essential to ideal of the healthy mind in a healthy body. Sweating will detox your body. Prof. scientific explanation goes like this …

Sweats are made from the skin every day.
Our metabolism break protein intake and produce the unnecessary nitrogen in our body. This excess nitrogen is break into simple molecule of ammonia. This ammonia is a toxin to our body and we excrete it through sweat.

Nowadays due to the heavy use of air conditioner, we rarely sweat and there are millions of people suffer from atopic dermatitis, the common skin problem due to the accumulation of ammonia in the skin.
The sweat is a liquid that the mammal secretes from the sweat gland. It contains the same element as urine but the density of saline is very low due to the 99.9% moisture. On the hot day or if the body in the state of excitation, we sweat because to lower the body temperature. We also sweat if we eat chili that contains capsaicin. An important role of the sweat is as "Temperature regulation" and to excrete "Ammonia".

If you sweat less, the hormone balances collapse and the immunity decreases too.
Moreover, the mineral in your body will exhausted together with moisture due to the lack of active sweat gland in your body. This will result the oiliness and unpleasant odour from your body.

To be healthy is to sweat everyday!.
The nervous system doesn't function normally if you not sweating regularly.
The stress builds up, and the mind and body will be affected negatively. The sebum that protects the skin and is secreted with the moisture of the sweat prevents the skin being dried, and enriching the skin smoothness. The person who is lucky is a person who sweats every day.

So everybody let move your body to the groove.
If your dancing shoes are on, grab a partner come get together, lets the dance floor feel your leather, step as lightly as a feather, let yourself go.

It time to be John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever or Michael Jackson in Moonwalker.

After successfully not to try to break your leg or neck, try a sauna after dancing and have a tacos with hot salsa. That makes me sweat more for sure!

sea turtle

I met the happiest person on earth! Dr. Nicholas! besides the obvious charm in him, he is really enjoyed his job, working on the marine conservation project specializing on the sea turtle.
Oh! Dr. Nicholas, now I’m your biggest fan. I like the sea so much and marine creature is so cute and amazing, even the whale shark I find adorable. I’ll support you all the way!
I think we all should put effort to support any conservation project to sustain our environment and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

As one of the Prof. email that is …
LOHAS is an abbreviation that takes the initial of Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability.
It is a generic name of a healthy, sustainable lifestyle for the earth and human.
This word creates a new life culture, the desire (EGO) to live comfortably and symbiosis (ECO) in the regional society with the environment.

Our mother earth had been suffering the serious environmental pollution and global warming due to the development of industrial nation by consumption of a large amount of fossil fuel. The idea is not to put more load on earth.

These are a few ideas of the LOHAS lifestyle
1) An environmental friendly lifestyle
Ecological Lifestyle: For instance, reform, environmental friendly household & utensil and eco-tourism. When buying, try to opt for the quality over the prices, environmental friendly and good design.

2) To archive the sustainable economy.
Sustainable Economy: For instance, green city planning, SRI : Socially Responsible Environment, conserved energy products, alternative energy, fair-trade etc.
Use the natural energy of wind power generation, sustainable agriculture, prevention of the global warming, achievement of the hydrogen energy etc.

3) To use an alternative medicine that doesn't rely on the chemical medicine
Alternative Health Care: For instance, homeopathy, Ayurveda, natural treatment, Oriental medicine, acupuncture treatment, reiki, movement, nutrition education & medicine.

4) To use Healthy food and a natural personal care product
Healthy Lifestyle: For instance, food that organically-grown vegetables and no chemical additives and to use natural detergent.

5) Invest for personal growth
Personal Development: For instance, mental training, spiritual, yoga, pilates, meditation, personal growth, art, ability development, intercultural relationship and friendship.

The person who is lucky is a person who has taken a LOHAS way of lifestyle.

I’ll feel very lucky if I can join Dr. Nicholas on the conservation project in Palau, go diving and see Manta Ray, do yoga by the beach and eat lots of organic tomato. May the wish come true !

little dragon

Today, a friend of mine code name ‘little dragon’ come in to help me in the café. Over the weekend Little Dragon will come and help through the busiest time. Why I named her ‘little dragon’ is because she was born in the year of dragon and according to Chinese calendar dragon possessed a traits of eccentric, confidence and excitable on the positive side and short tempered and stubborn on the negative - Aren’t we all ?. But they are brave, honest and sensitive. I was born in the year of rabbit, according to her rabbit and dragon can get along together, that why we kind of in-sync with each other. The Chinese believe that the animal year in which you are born given an indication of your personality. They have a saying: "This is the animal that hides in your heart". The always eccentric little dragon believed in karma and spiritual things and I always believe in anything that is good.

Actually I met little dragon by chance. On one of the very busy day, little dragon was a customer in our café, saw me running around like a maniac she offered to help and from the day onwards we became best friend.

Most of things in your life are by coincidence as the Prof says
80% of the things that happens in your life are by coincidence as well as your career. The things that you never imagine will happen make you life exciting and the things that doesn’t turn out to be the way it is make you want to challenge it.
When you have a dream, you want to strive for the best.
Coincidence is necesary to start a career. Thus, any coincidence that occurs in your daily life should be valued and used effectively.
Most of the people will remember the series of coincidence that happens in the past.
The mysterious feeling of the coincidence, if you ignore it won’t add any value to your career.
If you look closely why the coincidence happened was because you are the one who channel the information. For Example,
Why I can change my life is because I attended the seminar.
Why I attended the seminar is by recommendation of friends.
Why the friends of mine recommended is because it might be a good reference for study, career, or new business venture during our conversation.
Why I asked those questions is because I read a book about the topic.
Why I read a book because of my interest.
If you do the things that you like, the coincidence towards your consciousness will be higher.
If you don’t read the book of your interest, you won’t ask you friends about it.
You won’t join the seminar, you won’t also meet that person.
The coincidence that you attended the seminar started because you read a book about the topic.

If you think this way, the result that happen because of every 1 out of 1000 chances, initially it might be 1 out of billion chances and because you channel your consciousness and the information that were gathered, the coincidence that happened was upgraded to become 1 out of 1000 chances.

The Lucky person is having a prosperous life is because they know how to make use of the coincidence in the life and take the chances to upgrade their career.

So Little Dragon and I make a plan in our life, surely the 1 out of 1000 coincidence can be adapted to more intimate version like ‘Amour’ so we will channel our aura towards every hot guys that came to café. Cupid might strike! Something beautiful might happens ! Amen ….

Sunrise

Today I woke up early as I have to go to baking class. My Aunty forced me to go to learn pastry and baking as this would benefit the café. The class is conducted by the French Chef, and it turn out to be the most memorable day of my life. The Chef is so adorable and sexy. Smelt of cinnamon and honey. He keeps on calling me cheri (as darling in French). We make chocolate cake today and experience of beating, rolling, puffing, mixing with lots of chocolate, Well, what can I say, romantic … Oui Chef. Mon Cheri, Ces’t La Vie. Two more classes Chef ! may be I can get the lesson on French Kiss as well. Naughty ! Naughty ! .
Oh ya, my luck may be because of I woke up very early today as Prof wrote in his email which goes like this.

The early bird catches the worms …..
To wake-up early is healthy and your attitude will be optimistic towards the day and your brain will be active – you can ‘kill two birds with one stone’ (just make sure you don’t kill the endangered species !)
Your brain will be sharpest in the morning compared to the previous night
Something that you think or learn during the night will become the best idea next morning.
For example, in the night your brain is like a barrel, the learning experience is the ingredients like a bunch of grapes. You slept it overnight the delicious idea flow out like the matured wine. But, this idea will only be lasting for a few seconds. Therefore, you should write it on the paper. One of the famous Japanese producer, will put the memo on his pillow, he will write his idea whenever it pop out, night or day. This habit, made him produce a blockbuster movie. The idea would not come out every day. You will have the calmest moment in the early morning for thinking of the daily planning and preparation.
The one who can’t wake up early will have the negative characteristic.
- The pressure of always be chased by time , no time and busy
- Stress and no fulfillment
It is been said the students in China will wake-up 3 o’clock in the morning to study for exam ! sigh !

Tips to get out from the bed
1) Open your eyes, don’t linger a second. In other words, get out from there !
2) Put your alarm clock miles away from your bed means to get to shut it off
3) No strong light at least 2 hours before sleep, No computer, TV, Playstation etc.
4) Do not eat any solid hard food 3 hours before sleep
5) Try not to take red meat during dinner
6) Try to have some physical exercise during the day
7) Eat something sweets as the rewards after you wake up (does ice-cream count ?)
8) Do not talk about the sleeping time
9) Do not punish yourself if you overslept (good idea !)
10) Try to take an afternoon nap if you are really tired (yawn … )
11) Try not to take something strong before sleep
12) Alcohol will only make the sleeping worst
13) Wake up early is great feeling , try to convince your friends as well
14) Write your target in the paper to wake up early

On my piece of paper, the target to wake up early is this
Go swimming in the morning to meet up with the macho lifeguard on duty, surely makes me swim faster … wink !

Smile

Oh …. I’m so confused. I don’t know what I’m going to do with my life, well I’m 23 so I thought may be let me get confused for quite sometimes before I decided on anything. For a start I’m helping my Aunt running a café in Bangsar Kuala Lumpur. Our café is very small and cute. We are selling coffees, sweets and dessert and the most delicious beef curry rice in the world !

My name is Lucky … I guess my adorable parents named me Lucky because either they are lack of imagination or they wish if people call or shout at me at least I can still be Lucky, right !

Anyway, recently I received an email from a mysterious Professor claiming that he is doing a research in Luck and will be sending me an email on Luck every single day. OK Prof. if you are as charming as Proffessor Dumbledore then I will be very faithful to read your email every single day.

For a start Prof email goes like this ...
Every successful person in this world would always show their smiling face rather than the sad face.People smiling not because they are happy, they smile then they become happy
People crying not because they are sad, they are crying then they become sad
People shivering not because they are afraid, they are shivering than they become afraid
The one who looks happy not because the LUCK that make them smile.
It is because they never lack of smile therefore they are lucky.
Smile is not the result but the reason.
If you keep on whining and become sad about the everyday problem, it will make more worries.
More and more worries will result to the unfortunate
Nobody will befriend with you when you always whining and not feeling good about yourself.
Nobody will help you if you keep on selling your sorrow
If you are smiling, everybody will become interested
Smile, and the Luck will come in !
Successful people, is smiling not because they are successful
They are smiling then they become successful
Human is the only living things that have the power to received smile
Smile is the cheapest, the most effective super medicine in the world
Smile will cure thousand people
Smile is the passport for long life
